Stevo Simple Boy, the famous singer known for his hit song Mihadarati, is working hard to raise awareness about the dangers of drug and alcohol addiction, especially among young people in Kenya. He wants to get support from all parts of society to help young Kenyans stay away from these harmful substances.

Recently, Stevo Simple Boy met with Geoffrey Mosiria, the Nairobi County Chief Environment Officer, to discuss their shared concern about the drug problem affecting many young people. The meeting, which took place on March 12, focused on finding ways to help youths escape the cycle of addiction.

Stevo shared his vision for a new initiative called the Simple Boy Foundation, which aims to help young people quit using drugs. In a message, Stevo said, “I’ve been looking for the right person to help with this, and I believe you, Mr. Mosiria, are the right one to help me start the Simple Boy Foundation. This will help young people quit drugs.”

Stevo went on to explain that he has started this foundation with Mosiria’s support, and they both believe it can make a big difference. He called on all Kenyans to get involved and help save society from the damage drugs are causing.

Mr. Mosiria praised Stevo’s efforts, saying he fully supports the cause. He added that he sees many young people in the streets using drugs and wants to do something about it. “I’m always out here cleaning the streets, and I see the mess that drugs cause. I want to help these young people stay sober so they can succeed in life,” he said.

Mosiria promised to support Stevo’s foundation in any way he can, whether it’s through personal contributions or helping with registrations. “We will continue supporting you, my brother, in any way we can,” he said.

Stevo’s 2017 song Mihadarati has already brought attention to the issue of drug abuse, and now with the foundation, he hopes to reach even more young people and help them lead better lives without drugs.
