President William Ruto has urged leaders and critics to end blame games and instead focus on building the country and delivering services to Kenyans.
Speaking at State House, Nairobi, during the launch of the Affordable Housing Internship Programme, President Ruto urged Kenyans to reject negativity from people who portray Kenya in a bad light internationally.
"Not many countries can achieve what Kenya has achieved. Kenya is a great country,” he said emphasising that the government is working with precision to keep the economy on a steady path.

“Transformation of a nation takes courage, vision, foresight, and commitment,” he said, asserting his irreversible determination to transform Kenya.
The president also praised the 39 consortiums and over 200 companies participating in the build environment and their partnership, professional contribution in the Affordable Housing programmes all over the country.
“This programme not only gives us jobs but also builds our country. That is why we are scaling it up at the level of firms, contractors, professionals and everyone else working in the programmes,” he said.
President Ruto assured them of support from the government and encouraged them to continue building more capacity for growth in the sector.
