Several Kenyan U17 players who took part in the U17 World Cup in the Dominican Republic may soon have opportunities to advance their careers in Europe and the U.S.

The Junior Starlets made their World Cup debut, exiting in the group stage after losses to England (2-0) and North Korea (3-0).

However, they achieved a historic 2-1 victory over Mexico, marking Kenya’s first win and goal at a World Cup.
