President William Ruto has hit back at Gachagua after the Swearing in of professor Kithuire Kindiki as the next Deputy President
Ruto who said that he felt lonely at the presidency for the past two years said that his government will make sure executive works and serves the people of Kenya.
The president pointed out that Kenya is a constitutional democracy founded on the firm foundation of the rule of law, granting Kenyans the freedom to make choices.
"I have become a lonely voice in the executive, especially the presidency, trying to explain what we are doing. My dear professor, you are eloquent, I need your voice. We’re not here to serve ourselves, our families, our communities, our regions or our villages. We are here to serve the Republic of Kenya and the people of Kenya." Said Ruto
