Celtic Vs Feyenoord.

Resurgent Celtic fought back from an early setback to secure a fully deserved, landmark Europa League victory over Feyenoord in a stunned De Kuip.

Ayase Ueda put the Dutch side ahead with a composed low finish, but Celtic hit back before the interval as Yang Hyun-Jun and Reo Hatate turned the match on its head.

Benjamin Nygren then hammered in a late third to settle any lingering nerves in the jubilant visiting support.

The result marks a welcome return to form in Europe for the Scottish champions, who had been thoroughly outclassed by Midtjylland in their previous group outing.

Martin O’Neill’s side rode their luck at moments in Rotterdam, yet remained defensively resilient and ruthlessly efficient as they claimed a crucial three points, with O’Neill’s interim spell seemingly approaching its conclusion.

Feyenoord have now suffered defeat in four of their five matches in the competition, while Celtic move into a play-off position thanks to their second win.
