CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe wrapped up a series of high-profile engagements on Friday as part of preparations for the 2024 CHAN tournament.
Motsepe, accompanied by outgoing Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed, visited several key sporting venues designated for the tournament.
He visited Kasarani, Nyayo, Ulinzi Sports Complex, and Police Sacco Stadiums to asses the progress of ongoing infrastructure upgrades.
The CAF president expressed his satisfaction with the developments, noting the significant improvements since his last visit.
“I am impressed with the ongoing work. Things have changed, and progress is moving well. The support from the government, under President William Ruto and Minister Kipchumba Murkomen, has been remarkable. I am confident that Kenya, alongside Uganda and Tanzania, will host the best CHAN in the history of the tournament,” Motsepe said.
