The ruling United Democratic Alliance’s (UDA) top party officials have traveled to Uganda for a consultative meeting with Uganda’s ruling party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

The high-level delegation led by UDA secretary general Hassan Omar left the country today and will be in Kampala for the whole week.

During their stay, the UDA officials will engage their NRM counterparts in discussing matters of mutual interest to the two parties and Kenya and Uganda as a whole.

During the first day, the UDA team will be taken on a tour of the NRM Leadership Academy, an institution that the President William Ruto led outfit plans to put up in Kenya too.

On Friday, the UDA delegation will be hosted by NRM National Chairman, Uganda President Yoweri Museveni.
