It seems good things are smiling on Hon. Peter Salasya’s team! The MP’s social media manager, Harriet Njenga, received a life-altering gift of KSh100,200 from Tanzanian billionaire and entrepreneur Godlove Mwakibete, commonly known as Chief Godlove.
Harriet took to social media to share her excitement, uploading a screenshot of the M-Pesa notification of the transaction. The post, in appreciation and tears, was captioned:
“Leo umenigusa moyo wangu kwa miencheni ya kipekee. Asante kwa zawadi ya 100,000 siku yangu ya kuzaliwa… Mungu akupe afya, mafanikio na amani tele.”
Her emotional appeal quickly went viral, with fans flocking to the comments area to offer good wishes and praise the kind gesture by the Tanzanian billionaire. Others even jokingly made a mockery of the situation by making jokes that Salasya’s team is now “internationally favored,” having blessings coming from everywhere across borders.
The reason behind the surprise cash gift is unknown in its entirety, but everybody assumes it was a birthday gift or gratitude for her work managing one of Kenya’s most dynamic politicians online.
