President William Ruto has pledged his support to National Super League champions Nairobi United Football Club, following their historic double victory this season.
During a meeting held at State House in Nairobi, President Ruto Met the Nairobi United Football Club, the 2025 winners of the Mozzart Bet Cup.
He commended the team for their stunning success this season, pledging to donate a bus to the side that also won the Mozzartbet cup. “Young people are our country’s greatest resource. That is why we are intentionally putting more resources in the education and training of our youth to build and productively exploit their talents to drive our economic growth.” said President Ruto
The head of state also added that the government is keen on expanding sporting facilities across the country as outlined in the Kenya Kwanza manifesto, with the goal of nurturing local talent and creating economic opportunities through sports.
