Kenyan gospel singer Mr. Seed is causing an online storm after attacking Kenyan entertainment blogs for allegedly not promoting his music releases. In a public Instagram Story, the artist questioned why media outlets never support his songs even if he has been faithful in the music industry and has supporters backing him up.

“Wasee, I’ve got one issue that my fans and those who support my material ni have been asking me and saying, ‘Why these Kenyan blogs never drop your songs whenever you drop a release?'” he wrote.
“Nikaona ni ukweli, these people never acknowledge what I do.”

Mr. Seed was not shy, unleashing anger at the skewed endorsement by the media of artists. While the majority of artists get constant blog coverage for every release, Mr. Seed feels cheated despite having a loyal fan base and a line of hit tracks.

“So nawauliza blogs, mbona huwa ham post ngoma zangu anytime na drop? But you guys post hao watu wengine.”

The message has elicited mixed sentiments on social media. Most fans came out to support Mr. Seed, stating that he was due some appreciation for his services and consistency in the field.
