Ugandan music icon Jose Chameleone is currently facing a tough time outside the spotlight after his estranged wife Daniella Atim officially filed for divorce. The long-time couple, whose marriage has endured for 18 years and blessed them with five children, is currently making headlines after Daniella reportedly demanded 60% of the singer’s wealth in the ongoing case.
The petition, which was filed at the High Court Family Division in Kampala through Wambiim Advocates and Solicitors, not only seeks the dissolution of the marriage but also requests custody of the children, ownership of the family home in Seguku, Wakiso District, as well as child maintenance, alimony, and payment of all the legal fees by Chameleone.
This latest twist has reignited the public interest in the star’s private life, with many recalling earlier signs of trouble when Daniella relocated abroad amid rumors of marriage problems.
