Kitui East Member of Parliament, Nimrod Mbai, has been thrown into mourning following the untimely death of his mother.
Taking to social media, Mbai announced that his mother, Dorcas Kanini Mbai, died in a tragic road accident in Kithimani along the Nairobi-Garissa Highway in Machakos County.
"God who gives, has taken away. Rest in peace, Mama. You were loved beyond words and will be deeply missed. May your soul find eternal peace. Go well, my dear Mum," penned Mbai in his tearjerking tribute.Fellow politicians and Kenyans at large have extended their condolences to him, sharing in his grief.
