The Ministry of Health, in partnership with the World Bank, has launched a four-day co-creation mission in Lodwar and Kakuma municipalities, Turkana County, to kick off the Building Resilient and Responsive Health Systems (BREHS) project.
Led by the State Department for Public Health and Professional Standards, the initiative aims to strengthen primary healthcare and improve access to quality services across all 47 counties, with targeted support for refugee-hosting regions like Turkana and Garissa.
The mission brings together county health officials, KEMSA, and key partners to align on implementation priorities and tailor interventions to the unique needs of host and refugee communities.
