Players and supporters of Shabana FC and Posta Rangers at Gusii stadium were disappointed after a much-awaited clash was postponed.
The match officials disappeared even after they attended a pre-match meeting.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) tried to pacify the situation with a statement promising to address the crisis.
“We understand the frustration and confusion this has caused among fans, players, and club officials alike. The FKF is actively investigating this matter and is committed to ensuring that the integrity of the match is upheld” FKF said in a statement.

Adding; “We are currently working diligently to secure alternative match officials to officiate the game.
