The impeachment motion against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is expected to be tabled on Tuesday, October 1, in the National Assembly.
Among the 10 charges facing Gachagua in the motion is threatening President William Ruto.
In the incident, the DP reportedly angrily banged the desk at a meeting with President Ruto who had denied him KSh 8 billion.
The second in command allegedly wanted the aforementioned amount as compensation for the votes Ruto got from the Mt. Kenya region.
Gachagua arrived at the amount after multiplying each vote Ruto got in Mt Kenya region with KSh 4000.
The DP was reportedly willing to step down after receiving the amount.
