The Football Kenya Federation (FKF), in partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), hosted a two-day integrity workshop in Nairobi aimed at reinforcing the fight against match manipulation and promoting transparency and good governance in Kenyan football.
The workshop commenced on Wednesday, August 20, with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) from the FKF Premier League in attendance.
It concluded on Thursday with sessions tailored for elite-level referees.
Key sessions were led by Sacré Guébaé, Manager of Legal & Integrity at CAF’s Legal Affairs Division, alongside FKF’s Legal and Integrity Officer, Dennis Gicheru.
“The Federation is deeply committed to strengthening integrity within Kenyan football. Match manipulation is a serious concern, and engaging both FKFPL CEOs and referees in these discussions is vital,” said Gicheru.
He added, “We are grateful to CAF for their ongoing partnership and support, particularly through their integrity department, as we continue to build internal capacity and foster a culture of accountability in the sport.”
