Huddah has shared her personal view on romantic gestures. For her, love is best shown through actions—especially financial ones. She believes that while sweet words and compliments are nice, they’re not enough. “If a man loves and misses me, the only way he can show it is by giving me money,” she said, adding that words alone don’t impress her anymore.

This bold statement is just one part of what Huddah recently revealed about her past relationship. The Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur opened up about a man she dated for four years—a relationship she once thought would lead to marriage. She described him as generous, loving, and caring. According to her, he never mistreated her physically, but there was one thing she couldn’t ignore: he lied all the time.

Huddah said the lies were constant and exhausting. She shared how she would get upset, only for him to try and make it right with grand gifts. “He’d lie, then I’d get mad. Then he’d spoil me rotten afterward,” she said. These gifts were no small tokens either—expensive watches, big bundles of cash, and flowers would often follow his dishonesty.

She also shared a story about how he once made her wait for two hours at a restaurant, only to show up later with luxury items to make up for it. Though the relationship was full of wealth and romantic gestures, the emotional damage caused by the lies was too much. Eventually, she decided to end things.

For Huddah, the experience reinforced her belief that while money might not fix everything, it speaks louder than empty promises. Her view on love might be controversial, but she remains confident and unapologetic about her standards and expectations.
