Fashion Designer Bolo Bespoke

Nairobi’s fashion and designer Bolo Bespoke has publicly addressed the swirling accusations linking his success to illegal money laundering, known as “wash wash.” Bolo, recognized for his tailoring and flamboyant presence, has stood confidently against the reckless labeling of hardworking Kenyans.

The designer shared several posts on his social media account, showing his road trips with close friends. Captured in a convoy of luxury vehicles, he has dismissed the claims that his opulent lifestyle was funded through illicit means.

The images show him wearing a grey suit with a bright peach-colored shirt.  “Wenye huita watu wash wash kwani hawajuagi mahali sabuni hununuliwa ama kwani how much is soap? Nani hawezi taka kukua kwa convoy kama hii? Who?” Bolo said.

Bolo has urged such visibility should inspire rather than provoke suspicion. Bolo’s rise reflects Kenya’s entertainment and fashion industries, where designers are increasingly carving out global reputations.

His brand has dressed celebrities, business leaders and cultural icons, positioning him as one of the most influential designers. His defense is not just reputation but about reclaiming dignity for legitimate entrepreneurs in the society.
