President William Ruto has reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties, saying the country is expanding its global networks to advance mutual interests with partner nations.
Speaking at State House, Nairobi, the President received the credentials of newly-assigned Ambassadors and a High Commissioner, noting that their presence in Kenya symbolizes renewed friendship and cooperation.

“We are building, consolidating, and broadening Kenya’s global networks with partner countries to advance and accelerate the realisation of our shared aspirations and mutual interests,” President Ruto said.
The newly accredited envoys include Witjaksono Adji (Indonesia), Jaime Alejandro (Spain), Riina-Riikka Heikka (Finland), Maroš Mitrík (Slovakia), Joshua Brebner Tabah (Canada), Dzmitry Krasouski (Belarus), Leon Francois Yandouma (Republic of the Congo), Håkan Åkesson (Sweden), and Gideon Behar (Israel).

President Ruto expressed confidence that the diplomats’ tenure will deepen collaboration in trade, investment, technology, and cultural exchange, further cementing Kenya’s place as a regional hub of diplomacy and development.
