Media personality and digital content creator Willis Raburu has taken legal action against East African Breweries PLC (EABL) and Game Changer Marketing Limited over what he claims is unpaid compensation for work he delivered during the December 2024 Furaha City Festival.
According to court filings, Raburu—through his company Steizon Limited—is seeking KSh 10 million from the two companies. He alleges that despite fulfilling all contractual obligations tied to the festival, he has not been paid for his services.
The popular TV host and entertainer claims he handled a wide range of duties, including:
- Digital promotion
- Event coordination
- Influencer engagement
- General brand visibility assignments
Willis Raburu’s legal team argues that Steizon Limited completed every deliverable agreed upon, making the delayed payment both “unfair and unlawful.”
The Furaha City Festival, a high-energy December event that featured top entertainers, relied heavily on digital hype and influencer-driven promotion—roles Raburu says he was hired specifically to execute.
The media personality has not publicly commented on the ongoing case, but the development has sparked conversations online, with fans and fellow influencers weighing in. Many argue that delayed or withheld payments are a growing issue in the entertainment industry, especially for creatives who depend on brand partnerships and campaign gigs.
