The family and friends of missing Wells Fargo Human Resources Manager Willis Ayieko have been thrown into mourning following his untimely death.
Ayieko’s lifeless body was discovered in a swamp in Gem Constituency days after he went missing.
His body was found in a horrible condition — face down in the swamp, with his hands handcuffed behind his back and wearing no trousers.
Tracing his last moments, Ayieko left Nairobi for Gem to attend a funeral but was accosted on his way back home.
The HR manager was meant to attend another event in Kakamega the following day with his friends but never showed up, raising questions about his whereabouts.
Days later, Ayieko’s double cab pick-up was found abandoned, and police are pursuing two suspects caught on CCTV with the vehicle.
