A group of teenage girls from different schools across the country have launched a campaign in Migori County to raise awareness on teenage pregnancies, gender-based violence, and new HIV infections among adolescents.

The girls who have partnered with their peers from Kuria are working towards creating safer spaces through the campaign dubbed “Broken Crayons Still Color” .

The campaign also seeks to ensure that girls who have dropped out of school due to pregnancy are encouraged to resume their education. The champions will tour all the sub-counties in Migori County to raise awareness and educate fellow girls.
