The Bahati-mysterious mother saga has taken yet another twist after popular content creator Nicholas Kioko stepped in with a bold message directed at the fans and celebrities who are heavily commenting on the unfolding drama.

As Bahati continues to grapple with the shock of a woman claiming publicly to be his biological mother, despite insisting his mum died over 25 years ago, Kioko is urging the public to stop jumping to conclusions and allow the story to unfold naturally.

In a strongly worded statement shared on his Instagram stories, Kioko wrote:

“Celebrities should not jump into the comments, acting like they ‘know it’s showbiz’. Not everything needs to be broken down publicly or assumptions made. Just let showbiz be showbiz; it is part of the art, part of the craft, part of the storytelling. Let the performance speak for itself.”

The comment seems to chide the peers in the industry for their fast assertions that the woman’s appearance could be some form of a publicity stunt or a crafted storyline. Some prominent names had already started referring to the drama, tagging it as “clout chasing,” making Bahati’s emotional situation even more complex.

Kioko’s message appeals for caution, reminding Kenyans that not every dramatic moment should be prematurely labelled “PR” or “content”. According to him, entertainment as an industry thrives on authenticity. Sometimes, he suggests, the story is deeper than what appears before the fans on social media.

Meanwhile, Bahati has looked visibly shaken, confessing that he witnessed his mother’s burial himself and cannot understand how the new claims fit into his history. On the other hand, the mysterious woman keeps insisting that she is the real mother, causing even more confusion and emotional tension.
