Russian man known as Vladislav Liulkov has gone viral on social media after Ghanian authorities released his passport details. The viral Russian man was reported for filming naked African women without their consent causing widespread outrage all over social media.
Ghanian officials confirmed his identity over diplomatic engagements together with Russian embassy. The former confirmed that the case has moved from local investigations into the international legal space.
Sam George, Ghana’s Communications Minister stated that officials are working closely with International agencies for accountability. Sam reiterated that , in collaboration with the Ghana Police criminal investing department, Ghana government will monitor the suspect’s movements through interpol.
The minister said, “Working with the Ghana Police CID, we have activated international legal action through INTERPOL to ensure that once the individual sets foot outside Russia, we have a legal route to make him answer for his actions within Ghana,” the minister said.
The Russian’s sudden fame is tied to the seriousness of the accusations and the state authorities public release. The story highlights the role of international law enforcement cooperation in addressing privacy related offences.
