Controversial city preacher Victor Kanyari has publicly clarified his relationship with social media personality Marion Naipei, stating that the two are not romantically involved despite widespread speculation online.
Speaking in a viral video circulating on social media, Kanyari dismissed claims that he is in an intimate relationship with Naipei. The preacher said his interaction with her had been misinterpreted, leading to unnecessary debate about their personal lives.
Kanyari explained that his intention was to support Naipei after she faced public scrutiny online.
“Sitaki aibishwe na wanaume tena kutolewa nguo. I want that girl to enjoy life,” he said while addressing the issue.
The preacher revealed that he plans to buy Naipei a car and also help her establish a business so that she can become financially independent and avoid situations that may expose her to public humiliation.
The clarification comes after several videos showing the two together began circulating on social media, prompting speculation about the nature of their relationship.
In some of the clips, Kanyari is also seen offering Naipei financial assistance and encouraging people to support her.
Kanyari maintained that his support should not be interpreted as proof of a romantic connection, insisting that his actions were motivated by a desire to help improve Naipei’s life.
