The Kenyan film and TV fraternity has been thrown into deep mourning following the sudden passing of celebrated actor Bilal, popularly known by his screen name Webster Jnr. News of his death was confirmed early this morning by actress and close colleague Sandra Dacha, who shared an emotional tribute on social media.

According to her statement, Bilal passed away due to diabetes-related complications, a revelation that has left fans and fellow creatives in shock. Known for his powerful on-screen presence and unmatched acting range, Bilal was widely regarded as one of the most talented actors in the industry.

“Bilal was a GREAT TALENTED ACTOR! We’ve lost one of the best in the industry,” Sandra wrote, accompanied by crying and prayer emojis, reflecting the heartbreak felt across the entertainment space.

She further revealed that the burial is scheduled for Friday, 5th November 2025, at his rural home in Machakos. She urged fans and colleagues to keep Bilal’s family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult moment.
