As part of the ongoing Sambaza Furaha campaign, Safaricom is fostering relationships with stakeholders while spreading festive cheer across the Central Region.

In Meru, the company hosted a dealer engagement forum for over 50 Safaricom and M-PESA dealers to share experiences and celebrate their contributions to Safaricom’s mission of transforming lives through technology and innovation.

Mary Karanja, a Safaricom dealer for 22 years, expressed her gratitude at the event, stating, “It is wonderful to see the company recognize and celebrate us as they mark 24 years of transforming lives. Safaricom has transformed my life tremendously and enabled me to create jobs for others.”

James Muteti, Safaricom’s Mt. Kenya Regional Lead, emphasized the vital role of dealers as key stakeholders, celebrating them alongside journalists and the business community while spreading Christmas cheer through the Sambaza Furaha campaign.

Safaricom held the 5th edition of its Grow with Safaricom Business series in Nanyuki, engaging over 150 MSMEs and providing entrepreneurs with technology-driven strategies to grow their businesses.

As part of its Sambaza Furaha campaign, Safaricom is also spreading festive cheer in the Central Region by gifting customers goats, chickens, food hampers, airtime, and more, alongside other community activities.

The Sambaza Furaha campaign began its journey on Monday, November 18, in the Central Region, bringing joy and blessings to residents across major towns and markets.

The caravan has already visited Murang’a, Nyeri, Othaya, Karatina, Nanyuki, Meru, and Maua.

Today, the caravan is scheduled to travel through Gakoromone, Nkubu, Mitunguu, Tunyai, Kathwana, and Chuka.

Tomorrow, it will continue its journey, passing through Runyenjes, Embu, Kerugoya, Kagio, and Mwea.

Safaricom is also hosting S-Hook youth workshops in Thika and free medical camps in Tharaka Nithi as part of its community activities.
