President William Ruto has announced plans to enhance Kenya’s regional connectivity with the development of the Naivasha-Kisumu-Malaba railway.
Ruto said this on Thursday during stating that the project aims to boost trade and transport efficiency, positioning Kenya as a key logistics hub in East Africa.
“The Naivasha-Kisumu main line will span 264km, complemented by an 8.69km line branching to the proposed new Kisumu Port while the Kisumu- Malaba section will cover 107km, seamlessly linking Kenya to Uganda and the wider region,”he said.
He was accompanied by key leaders in the Country among them Musalia Mudavadi , Infrastructure Cs among others.
