Comedian Eunice ‘Mammito’ Wanjiru has shared details about her current boyfriend and the father of her pregnancy. The comedian, who is expecting her first child, revealed that her boyfriend is not in the public eye, following her breakup with fellow comedian Butita four years ago.
“He is someone’s son. He is not in the (entertainment) industry and I think that is what I wanted. I wanted someone who does something completely different because I dated in the industry and I preferred not to date in the industry again. I wanted someone who is doing something different, something I don’t understand as long as he is making money for us,” Mammito told TV journalist Betty Kyalo in a recent interview.
Mammito kept her pregnancy a secret until late October this year when she shocked her over one million social media followers with the announcement. After teasing her celibacy journey and keeping her relationship private, she surprised fans with a video revealing she was expecting.
Since the announcement, many have been curious about the man behind the pregnancy. However, Mammito has managed to maintain the mystery with her usual humor, without revealing his identity.
In the interview, Mammito explained why she chooses to keep her boyfriend private, saying, “I will keep him private because that is what you do in this city of Nairobi… you never know.”
