President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to report any public health hospital that charges them for outpatient services to the nearest police station.

Speaking in Kagundo, Machakos County, the president says the funds have already been availed under the Social Health Authority SHA.

The head of state says that the administration has received reports from across the country that public hospitals are charging patients exorbitant prices, derailing the government’s agenda on Affordable healthcare.

Ruto declared that his government was committed to exposing the public hospitals that diverted people from the good policy of free services and it will go as far as expelling them from public hospitals.

Moreover, he asked citizens to take photographs or videos of the clinics if they see such practices, and then come to the police station for help in filing a report.
