The Board of Trustees of PA-K, led by Chairman Paul Mbatha, together with the organization’s management team, has undergone a sensitization session on the recently approved Human Resource (HR) instruments developed by the Public Service Commission.
The session aimed to equip trustees and management with the knowledge and skills required to effectively implement the updated HR frameworks, which are designed to strengthen governance, improve accountability and enhance service delivery within the organization.

According to PA-K, the revised HR instruments are expected to promote greater transparency and consistency in recruitment and promotion processes, strengthen performance management systems, support staff development and ensure compliance with public service standards.
The reforms are also anticipated to boost employee morale and improve overall organizational efficiency.
Participants were further taken through their oversight responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of the new frameworks and adherence to the standards and guidelines established by the Public Service Commission.
“The updated HR instruments mark an important step towards strengthening governance, promoting transparency in human resource management and enhancing service delivery. By equipping our trustees and management with the necessary knowledge, we are laying a solid foundation for effective implementation and sustained organizational excellence,” said Chairman Paul Mbatha.
PA-K expressed appreciation to the Board of Trustees and the Public Service Commission for their continued support and commitment to advancing sound governance practices and institutional development.
The organization noted that the orientation forms part of broader efforts to align its human resource management practices with public service standards and best practices in governance and administration.
