With the nation poised to witness Prof. Kithure Kindiki’s swearing-in as Kenya’s third Deputy President, his family has expressed heartfelt pride and gratitude, crediting his appointment to divine intervention and the support of Kenyans.
Isaiah Kindiki, brother to the incoming Deputy President, shared his reflections on Kithure’s journey, recognizing his years of public service and dedication.
Speaking candidly , Isaiah attributed Kindiki’s rise to grace and the collective will of the Kenyan people, who have trusted him in roles ranging from Tharaka Nithi Senator to Cabinet Secretary.
“We thank Kenyans for allowing my brother the opportunity to serve in various capacities. This appointment is not just about being smart; it is the work of God through the people of Kenya,” Isaiah said, acknowledging Kindiki’s track record of service in the Senate and his influential roles in government.
Expressing gratitude to President William Ruto for his confidence in Kindiki, Isaiah noted the significance of selecting his brother from a nation of over 50 million people.
“The President had many options, and for him to choose Kindiki speaks volumes. This decision resonates with those from smaller communities and sends a powerful message to marginalized groups, including youth and women, that they too can hold top leadership positions in this country,” he added.
