Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives, MSMEs and Development, Wycliffe Oparanya,
Presided over the Ministerial Performance Contracting vetting for the Financial Year 2025/26 at the Ministry Headquarters, NSSF Building.

Speaking during the consultative meeting with the ministry team, Oparanya said the vetting is a key step in aligning departmental goals with the government’s development agenda
“I reminded our teams that delivering results requires unity of purpose and a whole-of-government approach,” he said

CS Oparanya emphasised the need for prudent utilisation of resources and encouraged all officials to adopt SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) targets to drive accountability and effective service delivery.

“Together, we are committed to empowering Cooperatives and MSMEs across the country,” he added
He was joined by Principal Secretaries Susan Mang’eni (MSMEs), Hon. Ahmed Abdisalan Ibrahim (State Department for National Government Coordination), as well as CEOs of SAGAs.
