Opposition leaders have accused the Kenya Kwanza administration of being out of touch with the everyday struggles of ordinary Kenyans, vowing to launch a nationwide charm offensive aimed at unseating President William Ruto’s government in the 2027 General Election.

Speaking during political a rally in Narok Town,Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua urge the government to listen to the concerns of KenyansGachagua declared that “a sea of humanity” had spoken from Narok, marking what he termed the beginning of an unstoppable national liberation cause.”We have heard your cry like all other Kenyans. There is great hope and light ahead that our nation will be free again; there will be no abductions and anarchy, no extrajudicial killings, and the rule of law shall be respected.We will get there no matter what” said Gachagua

Tge Former DP now says the opposition is working to consolidate its support bases, while also penetrating new regions in what he calls a mission to build a strong and inclusive political force.

Democratic Congress Party (DCP) Leader was accompanied by Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-Kenya’s Eugene Wamalwa, and NARC-Kenya’s Martha Karua said the government has failed to address the economic hardships facing millions of Kenyans.

Gachagua declared that “a sea of humanity” had spoken from Narok, marking what he termed the beginning of an unstoppable national liberation cause.“We have heard your cry like all other Kenyans. There is great hope and light ahead that our nation will be free again. There will be no abductions, no extrajudicial killings, and the rule of law shall be respected. We will get there no matter what,” he said, as the crowd erupted in cheers.

The leaders condemned harassment of opposition figures, warning state agencies against stifling dissent and undermining democracy. They urged the Kenya Kwanza administration to heed the voices of struggling Kenyans, calling for an end to what they described as economic mismanagement and state repression.

Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka emphasized the need for unity among opposition parties, stressing that the time had come to offer Kenyans a credible and inclusive alternative leadership.

The opposition’s tour is expected to continue across several counties as they seek to build momentum for their 2027 political agenda.
