Celebrated Kiswahili news anchor Loise Wangui has left the Nation Media Group (NMG) after a 10-year stint.
Wangui, who was famed for her NTV Mashinani segment, announced her departure on Friday, September 12, bidding goodbye to her colleagues and viewers.
In her farewell message, she said she had enjoyed working on the show by informing, educating, and entertaining the viewers.
"Today marks my very last day presenting NTV Mashinani because God has willed that I leave in peace, not in conflict. My dear viewer, you have been my pillar, my source of motivation, and my genuine supporter. Allow me to say goodbye. It has been 10 solid years of serving the nation and NMG, and I say thank you very much,” said Wangui.The sassy presenter did not, however, disclose her next destination after leaving NTV.
