The National Police Service (NPS) has scooped three awards at the ongoing Nairobi International Trade Fair 2026, emerging among the top exhibitors for excellence, presentation and public engagement.
The NPS exhibition stand was ranked first in the Best Stand that Promotes National Cohesion and Integration Development category.
The Service also secured third place in the Best Stand in Display and Presentation of Security Services among Government Organisations and third place in the Best Government Social Functions Stand categories.
The awards highlight the NPSโ efforts to strengthen public engagement and showcase its evolving approach to community policing, technology and service delivery.
The police service has used the trade fair to interact directly with members of the public, provide information on security matters and demonstrate some of its services and innovations.
Among the services being offered at the NPS pavilion is the processing and issuance of Police Clearance Certificates, commonly known as Certificates of Good Conduct.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Forensic Fingerprint Identification Bureau is stationed at the pavilion to facilitate the service, with members of the public encouraged to carry their identification documents.
The Administration Police Service (APS) Jazz Band has also been performing live at the stand, providing entertainment for visitors attending the trade fair.
The NPS stand was also visited by Dr Philip Ouma, Assistant Inspector General and DCI Director of Reforms, who inspected the exhibition and interacted with officers and members of the public.
The Service said the exhibition provides an opportunity for Kenyans to engage with police officers, raise security concerns, ask questions and provide feedback on police services.
The NPS has invited members of the public attending the Nairobi International Trade Fair to visit its award-winning pavilion and interact with officers throughout the event.
