The National Police Service (NPS) Kabaddi team leads the Kenya Kabaddi National League with 16 points after winning all four of their matches.
They resume action on 6th September 2025, with close challengers City Panthers and Paradiso trailing by just four points.
Despite strong performances from debutants Paradiso and Panthers, NPS head coach Amos Kagiri remains confident:
“They are strong teams bringing great competition, but NPS has the experience advantage,” he said.
City Panthers, coached by Owen Mucheru, are second with 12 points (three wins from four), tied with third-placed Paradiso.
Kenya Prisons sit fourth with four points, level with Administration Police (AP) A and B, though both AP teams have played just two matches, winning one each. National Youth Service (NYS) A and B are bottom with no points after two losses apiece.
The league resumes on 6th September in Nairobi with the following fixtures:
- Kenya Prisons vs AP A
- City Panthers vs NYS B
- Paradiso vs NYS A – A win could send Paradiso top; a loss could hurt their title hopes
- AP B vs Kenya Prisons
- City Panthers vs NYS B – A must-win for Panthers
- NYS B vs AP A
- NPS vs AP B
- NPS vs NYS B – A crucial double-header for the league leaders
The weekend could prove decisive as NPS look to widen the gap, while Panthers and Paradiso aim to overtake them.
