President William Ruto has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive development, emphasizing that no region or community will be left out of his administration’s agenda.

Speaking during a visit to Bungoma, he stressed the importance of unity and collaboration across political divides to achieve a prosperous nation.

“We will bring all Kenyans together and work with all leaders from diverse political orientations to build a more prosperous nation. That is our mission, and no one will stand in the way,” President Ruto stated.

During his visit, the President laid the foundation stone for Bungoma’s Modern Market, known as ‘Soko Kubwa,’ toured the historic Chepkube Market, and engaged with residents and traders in Bungoma Town.

The development of Soko Kubwa is expected to boost the local economy by providing better infrastructure and creating more opportunities for small-scale traders in the region.

"We are building modern markets across the country to foster economic growth from the Bottom. These markets will create safe and secure spaces for traders. Launched the Bumala Modern Market in Busia; this is one of the 11 modern markets we are building in the County," added Ruto.
