A Nakuru preacher is on the run after allegedly stabbing his wife, Florence Wanjiku, in Mercy Njeri Estate in Rongai, Nakuru county.
The two are said to have been in an on-and-off relationship and often disagreed over their joint business.
On Thursday, November 21, the preacher and Wanjiku agreed to sit down and agree on co-parenting, and they parted ways amicably.
However, while Wanjiku was heading to her apartment, she was allegedly hit by her husband on the head and stabbed multiple times.
While protecting her head, she was stabbed in her arm and some of her fingers were chopped off. She was saved by a night guard and rushed to the hospital.
"He showed up at the hospital in a shirt splattered with blood, demanding to be shown Florence; luckily the hospital had been made aware and refused to allow him to see her," a source told TUKIO.co.ke.The matter was reported at Menengai West Police Station and officers are in hot pursuit of the preacher.
