Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has expressed deep sorrow following the death of nominated MP Denar Joseph Hamisi, describing him as a principled and resolute leader whose character earned him admiration across Kenya’s political divide.

In his condolence message, Mudavadi noted that Hamisi, who served in the National Assembly under the Amani National Congress (ANC), embodied loyalty and diligence throughout his public life.

“It is with deep sorrow that I acknowledge the passing of Hon. Denar Joseph Hamisi, Nominated Member of Parliament under our former ANC party,” Mudavadi said.

He praised Hamisi’s unwavering commitment to his beliefs, noting that he remained firm in his convictions and was never influenced by political currents he did not trust.

“Hon. Denar was a diligent, loyal, and resolute leader who consistently stood by his principles. He was never swayed by political currents he did not believe in,” he added.

Mudavadi further described the late MP as a forthright individual with an exceptional ability to mobilize and inspire others, qualities that earned him respect from leaders across different political backgrounds.

He extended his condolences to Hamisi’s family, relatives, friends, and colleagues in Parliament, praying for comfort during this difficult time.

“May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace in this trying time,” he said.
