Uriri Member of Parliament Mark Nyamita has stated that there is no political force currently that can remove President William Ruto from office in the upcoming 2027 General Election.
Speaking during a panel discussion on Citizen TV’s DayBreak show, Nyamita termed claims that Ruto will only serve a single term as misguided.
The lawmaker called out the opposition leaders who have allied with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, saying their coalition lacks strength.
“The people claiming that President Ruto is a one-term president are misguided because there’s no formidable force to remove him. Gachagua is a tribalist, Martha Karua has zero influence, and if you remove Wamalwa’s name, you remain with Eugene, and we know he doesn’t represent anyone,” said Nyamita.
He further challenged opposition leaders to present a clear alternative agenda to the Kenyan electorate.
Among those opposing President Ruto are Rigathi Gachagua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Eugene Wamalwa, and Fred Matiang’i, among others.
