Digital content creator Milly Chebby has broken her silence about a recent health emergency that left her shaken but deeply grateful. During what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway to Mombasa, Milly found herself in a medical crisis that required urgent surgery—and the experience has left her counting her blessings.
Speaking candidly on her social media, Milly shared how she began experiencing severe abdominal pain while staying at a coastal hotel. Initially brushing it off as menstrual discomfort, she later realised it was something more serious when the pain intensified.
Following a hospital visit, doctors gave her shocking news: she was pregnant—despite using family planning. Further tests revealed she had an ectopic pregnancy, a critical condition where a pregnancy develops outside the womb, often in a fallopian tube.
The situation escalated quickly. “I was bleeding internally, and I didn’t even know it,” she shared. Her husband, comedian Terence Creative, was overjoyed when she told him about the pregnancy, not realising the danger they were facing. “He was so happy, and I just watched him, thinking how I wished it was different.”
Emergency surgery was performed to stop the internal bleeding. Doctors had to remove her left fallopian tube to save her life.
Now recovering, Milly took a moment to thank her followers—especially on TikTok—for their kindness. “I’ve read so many supportive comments. Thank you for the love, the prayers, and the encouragement. It means the world to me.”
