Manchester City have completed the signing of Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri for £31 million.
The 24-year-old Algeria international has signed a contract until 2030 and will be available for the Club World Cup, where City face Wydad AC on 18 June.
Ait-Nouri joined Wolves permanently from Angers in 2021 after an initial loan, and impressed last season with five goals and seven assists in 41 appearances.
He becomes Wolves’ second major departure this summer, following Matheus Cunha’s £62.5m move to Manchester United.
City continue their squad rebuild, having already agreed a £46.3m deal for Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan, adding to over £200m spent in January.
Ait-Nouri said: “City are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Playing here is a dream come true. I’m excited to work with Pep Guardiola and such a world-class squad.”
Technically gifted and strong in one-on-one duels, Ait-Nouri offers pace, versatility, and fits City’s possession-based style.
However, he’ll need to sharpen his decision-making and improve his end product to meet Guardiola’s standards.
