President William Ruto has joined the Muslim community in mourning the death of Chief Kadhi Sheikh Abdulhalim Hussein, describing him as a devoted servant of humanity and a respected Islamic scholar.

In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, the Head of State praised Sheikh Abdulhalim for his unwavering dedication, humility, and wisdom in leading the Muslim faithful.

“We join the Muslim community in mourning the passing of Chief Kadhi Sheikh Abdulhalim Hussein. Sheikh Abdulhalim devoted his life to the service of humanity and led the Muslim faithful with unwavering dedication, humility and wisdom.” said President Ruto.

The President extended his prayers to the bereaved family and the entire Muslim community, asking Allah to bring them comfort during this difficult time.

“Sheikh Abdulhalim’s legacy of justice and spiritual leadership will live on. Rest in peace,” the President added.

Sheikh Abdulhalim served as the Chief Kadhi of Kenya, playing a key role in Islamic jurisprudence and interfaith dialogue.
