Guinness World Records has officially acknowledged the recent tree-hugging record attempt by Kenyan environmental enthusiast Truphena Muthoni, whose passion for conservation has drawn widespread attention both online and on the ground.
According to a statement from the organisation, Muthoni’s attempt this week has sparked “a deep-rooted passion for trees and the vital role they play in our ecosystem,” generating thousands of comments and discussions across their social media platforms.
Guinness World Records noted that supporters are eagerly awaiting the outcome of her latest challenge, adding that the team will review all submitted evidence before confirming whether a new world record has been set.
“For now, her current record stands at 48 hours, achieved earlier this year in Nairobi,” the organisation said.
