The ongoing feud between Gatundu North MP Elijah Njoroge “Kururia” and Kameme FM presenter-turned-bishop Benson Gathungu, also known as Kiengei, has taken a new twist.

The conflict, which began in September after Kiengei told Kururia to take care of his mother, has reignited.

Kiengei had claimed online that the MP’s mother had visited his church to collect maize meal flour.

This sparked an angry outburst from the MP, who used harsh words against Kiengei, a supporter of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

While the tension seemed to subside after a few weeks, it resurfaced when Kururia who is a sworn enemy of Gachagua demanded a refund of Sh600,000, which he contributed to Kiengei’s Jesus Christ Compassion Ministries (JCM) church last year.

It is also alleged that Kururia made additional undisclosed donations to the fast-growing church.

“It’s time to get my money back! I don’t have money for my mother’s Christmas flour,” Kururia posted online last night.

He further questioned, “Are you sure you he will return the money? Why didn’t you refuse when you received it?”

Kiengei, however, has yet to respond to the MP’s demands or the renewed provocation.
