Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has reiterated his support for a broad-based government, expressing his commitment to embracing those who have joined the coalition.
In a recent statement during iterview with Citize TV, Gachagua acknowledged the importance of unity within the government but raised concerns over potential political maneuvers aimed at his position.
“I support the broad-based government and embrace the people that joined us,” Gachagua stated, emphasizing his dedication to inclusivity in the political landscape.
However, he added a note of caution, revealing that there are discussions among opposition leaders regarding his removal from office.

“I am told they are saying that they didn’t have the numbers to remove me, but now that Raila has come on board, they can use his MPs to join and kick me out,” Gachagua explained, referring to the influence of Raila Odinga and his party’s members in the current political scenario.
