A Form Three student has been shot dead in Molo, Nakuru County.
The student at Njenga Karume Secondary School was killed when police allegedly opened fire on Molo demonstrators who were marching in the street in commemoration of the June 25, 2024, Finance Bill protest casualties.
Four other people are hospitalised with serious injuries following the incident.
Tension is high in the area as youths continue to demand justice and accountability.
Most businesses remain closed in major towns as protests continue across the country.
