The media fraternity has once again been thrown into mourning following the sudden demise of the Kisumu-based Radio Lake Victoria host Fofona Bangali.
Bangali, famed for his Rhumba show, was found dead in his house on Saturday, March 29, 2025, leaving his colleagues and fans in shock.
His death was announced by his co-host, Betty Opondo, who said the presenter was in low spirits hours before his death.
Opondo disclosed that Bangali had epilepsy, but he managed his condition well.
They suspect that he may have suffered a cardiac arrest or had a severe seizure while alone in his house, leading to his sudden death.
