William Kabogo, the newly appointed Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, has pledged his dedication to building a digitally empowered Kenya.

Speaking shortly after his swearing-in ceremony at State House, Nairobi, Kabogo expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve and assured President William Ruto of his commitment to advancing the government’s digital transformation agenda.

“Honoured to be sworn in as Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy at State House, Nairobi. I promise to serve all Kenyans with fairness, dedication, and a commitment to delivering a digitally empowered nation. Together, let’s build Kenya’s future” he said.

President Ruto, while presiding over the ceremony, highlighted the critical role Kabogo’s ministry will play in driving innovation, expanding digital infrastructure, and bridging the technological divide across the country.

Kabogo’s extensive experience in public administration and governance was lauded as a valuable asset in achieving these goals.
